Vercel宣布Functions的WebSocket支持正式可用。自6月底公测以来，Vercel CDN已累计处理3亿次WebSocket连接，目前日均连接量达1500万。客户主要将WebSocket用于AI聊天、流式传输和实时多人应用。这意味着开发者可以直接在Vercel Functions上构建需要长连接的低延迟应用，不必再单独搭建WebSocket服务器。

**Vercel Functions WebSocket Support Goes GA, Serving 15M Connections Daily**

Vercel has made WebSocket support in Vercel Functions generally available. Since the public beta launched in late June, Vercel CDN has served 300 million WebSocket connections and now handles 15 million per day. Customers use WebSockets for AI chat, streaming, and realtime multiplayer apps. The GA release lets developers build low-latency, long-lived connection apps directly on Vercel Functions without standing up a separate WebSocket server.
